I'm not some nutty fan, yes winning your league is a big criteria, but if a second team from that conference is a Top 4/5 team at end of year. They will get past over for a Top 6 or 7 team? Then the criteria is B.S....look at the teams ahead of LSU they play each other...If LSU takes care of business they are at the doorstep.

You are missing the teams behind LSU that have a chance to prove themselves more worthy. Florida, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Utah can all jump LSU

You actually validating my point...If Oklahoma move up that means they beat OSU, Baylor(ahead of LSU currently) no conference game either...UTAH won't win their League either. Stanford vs ND elimination game. Michigan St only move up if they beat tOSU(which they will drop significantly not having a Top 25 at this moment)

If we don't win the sec we don't deserve to be in the playoff. With college football having no set and agreed upon criteria to make the playoff (allowing coaches and players to have control over making the playoffs let alone win them) of you aren't the best team in the sec,it's impossible to be the best team in the nation.
