I think UT beats Flarda this year, and might even be able to pull one out against my Dawgs.

I'm certainly homerish in my prediction, but not nearly as homerish as you are in citing some pre-season index that was created before fall camp even started as your basis for favoring UT, as if it's what "the experts are saying."
Anybody here with with at least a drop of college football knowledge and a hit of rational thought would agree that using those "metrics" is stupid.
State has been better than UT for a while now. There's your facts.

So many unknowns in the East this year outside of Georgia.
Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Florida and South Carolina... I could see any of those teams finishing second in the East with Tennessee and Kentucky being the least likely and Florida most likely. None of these teams have elite rosters, but they all have some very good pieces.
