ASU is going to probably lose to Texas. Pretty good chance they lose bad.
Texas is about the worst case matchup for them.
They still belong in the playoffs. Complain about the autobye all you want, but they pretty comfortably should have qualified for the playoffs. Their 12 spot was bad and wrong based on merit.
ASU had 5 games against preseason top 25 teams and none of them finished in the top 25. They beat all of them, but that's why their SOS sucks. They beat two teams that did finish in the top 25, which is more than half the playoff teams and I think only Oregon and Georgia had beat more. They've got two 11-win team scalps now. They lost on the road in their first conference game to Texas Tech and without their QB at Cincinnati.
Realistically, byes should be for the best teams. No conference attachment. You also need to give enough love to teams from outside the B1G and SEC to at least let the top teams get a home game if they earn it. ASU should have been the 8 seed and hosted the 9 seed.

Who are the best 4 teams? It’s all opinion. You say who’s the 4 conference champions that’s something we know.

They should be in the playoffs. They should have been seeded 8 and 9 with one of them already eliminated.

Anybody other than an SEC team because they are jokes and soft as hell! The Big Ten have wiped their arse with the SEC teams so far, lol Alabama couldn’t even beat Michigan???? Ohio State made Tennessee their Bitch so are we really crying that more SEC teams should have been in the playoffs???? Wake up dumbasses
