Thanks, baw. He’s gotten better at every stop.
yeah but I wasn't aware how good Petrino's season opening record is until you posted it. Should be interesting.

Louisville scored 495 points last year. Their issue was their DC who Mullen swapped to get Grantham after he destroyed our defense in 2016.
ETA. If Louisville had a defense last year and had more time for their offense on the field, I bet they'd have scored 600 points.

Well I know Petrino is good offensive minded coach and should be able to exploit some of the inexperience on Bama's d. I think they put up mid 20's. But their d probably still sucks and look for Bama to put up mid 40's. Mostly pounding between the tackles and Tua throwing off of play action.

Probably right. He did fire his DC and I still don't know why he took him from MSU after one year of college ball as a DC at MSU. I mean the statistics should have told the story. Mullen pulled a fast one on Petrino if you ask me.
Anyway, Louisville D should be better just for the fact they fired the DC after last year who was the worse DC I ever saw at Msu in years. On the offensive side, not sure who Petrino brings back. I don't follow Louisville. But I agree, Bama will wear them down the second half.

Yeah, I think they'll score something along the lines of 17-24 points--mostly in the first half--depending on our secondary play and our turnovers.
