Bo Bounds nails what is wrong with State

1) Talent. Moorhead/Leach loaded the roster w G5 players.
2) No playmakers at QB. Both QBs are G5. Will fit the Air Raid & it’s a great story of an overachiever, who’s been well-coached since he was 6 yrs old.
3) Your HC died suddenly & you named Arnett HC who was still developing as a DC (see #1)
4) any offense you switched to without a dynamic QB was going to be a disaster
5) you can name Brock DC. You can’t let him run the defense
Hard to argue with any of these. State will be horrid next year.

He still can’t. He’ll have at least three or four segments on Dak throughout the week and I only listen for 25 minutes on the way to work

I think it starts and stops with "coach died suddenly."
It's definitely put them in a full on total rebuild situation at the worst possible time for them to be forced into it. But no one can really be blamed for it.

Mississippi State looking like shite after the HC dying and new coach doing a complete overhaul of the system is the least surprising thing to me in a while.
State needs to go through them lean years. Them dickheads thought they were catching up to Auburn.
