No Barry switzer? Multi national titles and a Super Bowl. For that matter jimmy johnson and petey carroll only got one natty but both also have a Super Bowl ring as head coach
He's in the group of 9 with 3 cfb national titles. Also in that group are Bud Wilkinson, Pop Warner, Knute Rokne, Darrell Royal, Tom Osbourne, Urban Meyer, Walter Camp and Howard Jones.
My list was only about college accomplishments.

You need to do more research and be better prepared to comment. Wallace Wade has 3 NC's at Alabama.
Bob Kirlin
College Football Researchers Association
David Wilson
Loren Maxwell
Parke Davis
Mel Smith
Ray Byrne
Sagarin Rankings
The State's National Champions
(Won the Rose Bowl)

Hayes has 3 - 1954 (AP), 1957 (UPI), 1968 (AP & UPI)
The other two the Buckeyes claim that gives Hayes five are:
1961: (8-0-1), #2 in AP and UPI. They were awarded the FWAA trophy but it doesn’t hold the same weight as the AP and UPI which named Alabama the national champion with an undefeated and untied (10-0-0) record before their bowl win giving them an (11-0-0) season.
1970: (9-1), UPI #2 (decided before bowl) and AP #5 (after bowl). They were given a shared piece of the NFF title but again, doesn’t hold the same weight as the AP and UPI. Nebraska went (11-0-1) winning the AP and Texas went (10-1-0) winning the UPI (decided before bowl loss).
Hayes is officially part of the “3x national championship coach” club.

If you look on the NCAA site and in the record book they hold the FWAA and NFF on the same level as the AP and Coaches.
AP (1936-present)
AFCA aka Coaches (1950-present)
FWAA (1954-2013)
NFF (1959-2013)
USA Today (1982-1990; took over the AFCA poll in 1991)
UPI (1991-1995 after USA Today took over the AFCA poll in 1991)
FWAA/NFF (2014-present)
For retroactive years before 1936, the NCAA considers the Helms Athletic Foundation (1941), National Championship Foundation (1980), and College Football Researchers Association (1982) as major polls.
