And I don't think they would reinstate him right after he admitted to wrong doing in a meeting with the NCAA. That would be a massive middle finger to them.

Apparently LSU basketball told SMU football "Hold my beer and watch this".
Bad enough to rub it in the face of the NCAA but when they are backed by the FBI, someone better be looking to make a plea bargain to stay out of jail.

Hell Bruce Pearl lied to his employers, the NCAA and got the kids who attended his BBQ to lie and there were photos of that shite just to keep his job longer.
