Apparently they didn’t teach you how to read all the rules. Go to page 48. He is considered defenseless. Because he 1. Was in the act of or just after throwing a pass and 2. Was obviously out of the play.

False...and that was noted yesterday during the broadcast. When he made the move towards the play he was no longer defenseless. He was 20 yards up field and moving towards the ball. That means he is no longer 1 or 2

What got it called was to the helmet/face you can’t do that in todays game NFL or college . Stupid play by the USC player .

no it wasnt...because the contact wasnt to the head or face...so if youre saying that was what it was called for....then youre admitting it was a bad call

Furthermore, South Carolina fans continuing to cry over the call is a perfect reflection of your fan base

That's rich coming from a LSU fan

No it wasn’t. You realize people can go to the ESPN app at watch the game again. (The play is at 2:40:45).

Kurt even said they took at shot at the QB and it was unnecessary. They didn’t mention anything about him “turning upfield” and they never questioned it.

You realize there is more than 1 broadcast. Could have been the radio broadcast....

I dunno. I didn't hear it. I didn't listen to every broadcast.

But that doesn't mean someone didn't say it on some broadcast. For all we know the lsu broadcast could have said it.

Refs are going to protect the QB. Every...single...time. It may be soft. but that's the way it is.

Everyone knows SC was screwed by the refs. This is an LSU site lol. Nothing more can be done at this point to overturn penalties

At a minimum. More likely all season. Heck, I'm still bringing up stuff from the early 2010's.

You should be batching about that offensive pass interference call, not this.

Every team has had a shitty call go against them. Devin White had a bullshite targeting call that caused him to miss half the Bama game the next week. We cried about it and got over it. This too shall pass.

It is a stupid rule yes but they are going to put the QBs on a pedestal and Niss was 15 yards away from the play.

It is a stupid rule, but if he didn't want to get blocked he should have stood still and watched, not started off after the INT returner.
At that point you are fair game IMO.

And he flopped like a friggin' soccer fig.

realize what LSU football has become.

3 national titles in the last 20 years
2 Heisman winners in the last 5 years
Back to back 10 win seasons

You’d sacrifice your mother to be where the LSU program is.
