You don't know what is covered under this. I mean...neither do I...but you can't go around stating things as fact as if you're a representative of the NCAA.

We don't have a clue.

Don't you think Miller would have known that the school was making regular payments to Tunsil over the years? NCAA spent the better part of 4 years in Oxford and over 100 hours worth of interviews with Miller about Tunsil. How did this never surface before Draft Day?

and thus, John Miller would have felt the need to ask why the amounts kept changing if he was cleared to receive x amount per month.

The stipend doesn't change - it's a fixed amount. And John Miller, Barney Farrar, Hugh Freeze and even Laremy Tunsil were all educated on the fact that momma's bills don't fall under Ole Miss' financial responsibilities.

Well family expenses arent, so...

Living expenses are treated separate from this. Essential emergency expenses dont fall under your normal living expense stipend.

Now, I'm leaning towards believing that y'all are going Auburn "All In" and just doubling down over and over with ridiculous denials that this is a big deal.

Auburn won a championship and has signed nothing but top ten classes since.

His mom's utility bill wouldn't seem to fall under this header, but hey, maybe we are all looking at this wrong and Ole Miss fans are seeing it right.

again (b/c it ended up as last post on the page) a refresher of his text exchange (that we know about, certainly there are more).

Is no one else curious about the text at 10:25 pm on June 25, 2015 to John Miller in which Tunsil asks, "Can u meet me at the ipf right now?" What could be so important that the asst ad/football operations would have to go there at that hour of night instead of waiting until morning? weird text to me.

Miller would have known momma's power bill was not part of OM's financial obligations. It's freaking SUMMER in the South ~ how many other player's momma's want their expensive arse power bills paid by someone else in the summer?

You don't have a clue about what falls under the "essential expenses" part of the SAF. Don't get me wrong...neither do I.

So....you're saying it's naive to think that Miller, who was close to Tunsil for years and is screaming at the top of his lungs to the NCAA about impermissible benefits, would have no clue about Tunsil receiving regular payments from the coaching staff?

Then why didn't he tell the NCAA about it? Are you telling me that Miller, who lived with Tunsil's mother....literally in the same house, had no idea that Ole Miss was paying for their utilities?

maybe. maybe momma was pocketing the utility money from Ole Miss b/c she knew they'd give it, but wasn't telling Miller.

That little snippet could mean 100 different things, depending solely on where your bias falls.

I'm talking about John Miller - he damn sure knew that momma's power bill didn't fall under OM's financial obligations. He was educated on NCAA compliance.

Lindsey.

You know....the guy that, according to him, was trying to prevent Tunsil from getting an impermissible benefit from an agent on the evening of the altercation.....but then admitted to the NCAA that he was directly responsible and requested impermissible benefits from a booster.

That one...

If they don't have proof the light bill was paid then we are indeed fricked. And rightfully so out of pure stupidity.
