Move to the BDF board. Perhaps you will find someone who cares.

Your replies and the subject of this thread are all I need to know that you care.
Thanks.

I am just enjoying this watching them not sell out Notre Dame.
I don't see any Notre Dame tickets available through UT's website.

Meanwhile, I DO see tickets available on aggy's website for UCLA and Arkansas.

And aggy season tickets still available, too. Remember how they sold all of them a couple years ago? They were sure to tell everyone.

And to address the snide comment earlier about Bill Powers being on Enron's board of directors.
Aggy had a faculty member on the board, too. Wendy Gramm. Ol' Phil's wife.
Bill Powers exposed Enron's problems. The aggy Gramms profited from them and kept quiet.

Royal won 3 titles, and never had any NCAA issues. Not many coaches can say that.

Royal retired after the 1976 season but admitted he would have liked to continue were it not for the competitive, increasingly bitter atmosphere that was growing in college athletics. He lost favor with several influential Texas supporters in his later coaching years when he refused to become more aggressive in recruiting, which he believed could lead to NCAA violations.

Welcome to what we dealt with from these jackasses for so many years, and why we'd by happy not to play them ever again.

Thanks for the laugh, it's been kind of a shitty day.

This is so stupid.
Did not go past this post to agree, soooo stupid
You can describe Nick Saban with many words but "Cheating" is the one word most everyone would not use.
Really, this guy out works virtually every coach in college football and has created a environment with a winning attitude and to accuse him of cheating is just STUPID.

Right. Because 50% of the threads on this forum aren't about how bizarre/terrible/delusional/douchey your program and its mouth breathing fans are.
Look ill be the first to admit that the Saban hiring attempt was a huge munson for our school. I'm not sure if the real story will ever get out but it doesn't matter: the bottom line is Saban decided to stay. When you are the greatest college coach of all time you can do whatever you want. That said, Powers was a great President and our leadership has only gotten better since he left.
The aggroids on here talking about our "cheating program" and "lying president" are hilarious. They would kill to trade the snake oil salesman who is currently busy trying to turn A&M into the University of Phoenix for our leadership. It's not even close. I won't get into Sumlin and his sh@tshow because the weekly stories out of CS speak for themselves.
I wish we had Saban. Man I do. But I believe most fellow Longhorns will agree that we are happy to give Strong at least another year to put his ridiculously talented underclassmen to work.
And PS, whoever brought up Raulerson, our old center, he wasn't going to be a starter this year and left for a chance to play somewhere else. No fault to him- he's a great kid.
