Bill Battle fricked Alabama basketball so hard up the arse

He retained Anthony Grant after going 13-19 in year 5 with a total of 1 tournament appearance back in year 3.
It was one of the worst Alabama basketball seasons in history.
This allowed Auburn to hire Bruce Pearl. We should have fired Grant and hired Bruce Pearl.
Why us? Is this the price to dominate football?

Pearl is probably too sleazy to fit in at T-Town. If you want to go that route, Rick Pitino is looking for a job and is a much better coach than Pearl

I fear Bama may overpay for Prohm. That's my issue with UA, they think they can solve problems with $$$$. Saban worked out, but throwing money after bad basketball is why we're at where we're at. We need to start to think like Wisconsin and try go for value instead. Value=Steve Forbes at ETSU. He fits it all: strong midwest background (midwest produces the best coaches when compared to other regions), was Pearl's top assistant at UT, Greg Marshall thinks highly of him, plus Forbes has won every where he's been HC.

I wouldn’t have. I didn’t start watching basketball until Bruce came to town. I would have enjoyed my ignorance some more if we never got him! Lol
