Youtube recording . . . . RB coaches should ban the hurdle.

Bijan tires to go high, almost snaps his neck

Texas was 7-3 last year and should have won both the TCU & ISU games. We lost those two by 5 points combined..

Now do the games you should have lost….tech and okie state both took you to overtime and bad calls kept you from losing both games

So by your very own logic 5-5 was your real record last year?

No one can possibly be a Heisman winner if he doesn't get worked hard and left out wet. It takes carries to the tune of 25+, each game for any running back to be taken seriously. It would help dramatically if he's also featured in the passing game and has that Najee Harris skill set.

Jaylen Waddle doesn't go down, how in the world does The Slim reaper get the looks to win a Heisman? Short answer: He doesn't.

Takes much more than talent, takes an offensive philosophy and a head coach that sticks to those principles. Otherwise, the QB is getting all the press, naturally.

Bijan is an elite talent, but the Texas o-line is absolute garbage. That will keep him from Heisman contention. Bijan was wildly misused by Tom Herman. It can't be any worse under Sark. Bijan will be scoring TDs on Sundays in the near future, and most NFL fans will be wondering why they hadn't heard of him before.

FYI - Why has Texas sucked the last 11 years? Since our 2005 title team, our o-line has been a joke. Straight up pussies. Nothing is different this year.

He’s going to have to have 2000 yards to get invited on an 7-5 team

As an aside, I still don't know how he survived this landing after his terrible at a hurdle against Texas Tech.

I still turn my head when that play comes on.. and I know he is ok.. but I am with you.. your body is NOT supposed to do that. I thought he was done for the year, maybe longer when I saw it live.

I admit to being intrigued by the kid due to the last few games where he really flashed big league talent. His entire statistical production last year was in the last two games against the crapiness of KSU and Colorado.

Agreed, and we were also missing two of our best lineman in the Colorado game, and 1 for over half of the Kansas State game.. maybe we had the wrong OL in the game the whole time.

The few times he played decent teams (Okie State, Iowa State) he was a non-factor.

The better teams knew how to play against Sam, who didn’t have Collin or Lil Jordan to bail him out anymore. They stacked the box and we couldn’t do as much..

Texas will 100% miss Sam, the leader. He was truly a Great Longhorn QB in my book. But both Casey & Card will be better throwing the ball..

Does he get invited to New York with those numbers?

Yes. Invited. Win? No.

Those numbers are against Big12 teams. The committee won’t see the logic in “the Big12 is a good enough league for our boy to win the Heisman” while at the same time the same team saying “the Big12 isn’t competitive enough for us we need to blow up the league and leave”. It’s just not logical.

Not when RBs will play in the SEC west. I’m not gonna argue whether the actual games are easier or not. The perception will be what matters.

The Big12 (thanks primarily to recent events) is considered a lame duck league. Any back that is undefeated in the SEC west with similar numbers will beat him.

So invitation? Yes. Winning? No.

When your in the SEC, it will be different, but I guess that’s why you’re coming...

And that is fair. It could have easily gone in the other direction as well..

But I think Sark is at least equal to Herman on offense. He might be better.

Ash was a good DC, but I also really like what PK did at Washington, and he did it with lower rated players than he had at UDub. TBD is that is good or bad.

The first half of our schedule is tough.. so they will both be tested right away.

With a new QB, I think Sark will lean heavily on the running game in 2021, but 25 carries a game is probably pushing it for one RB. I think it will be flower for to 20 a game.

Barry Odom’s defense is going to stuff him like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Sark's success at BAMA last season was as much a result of coach Saban's influence on the offense as Sark's willingness to run a balanced offense. He's a throw-first kind of coach. If he gets what he wants through the air Robinson gets used as a change of pace back.

I look for Sark to revert back to form next season. If he's in double tight end alignments to feature his offense, most of the time, I might take it all back.

Texas will have more talent than every team on the schedule, with 1 exception. Texas and OU will have similar talent.

If that is true, then why shouldn’t Texas go 9-3 or better with Sark & PK IF they are good coaches? Perhaps they aren’t as good as I think that they are..

Charlie was TERRIBLE. He just was..

Herman was actually pretty good identifying talent and building the roster.. The team he built for this year honestly has a lot of talent. Herman’s issue was on game day and off the field. He lost the locker room and didn’t know how to put teams away.

IMO Herman & Sherman were very similar in the way they could build a roster.. Different position groups, but both definitely had a good eye for talent.

Good news! We will find out in 25 days if Texas can beat Louisiana or not. That won’t define the season either way, but it will give us a better idea..

The same Barry Odom defense that Sark carved up last year 52-3? Factor in the talent gap, maybe the offense only scores 35 instead of 45? Are y’all going to score more than 35? A PK defense hasn’t given up more than 35 points in a LONG time.

EDIT: 81 games since a PK defense gave up more than 35 points in a game. But that streak likely gets broken this year..

I don’t agree with this statement. We have a lot of size, talent, and depth along both offensive and defensive line. The defensive line might be the the best in the conference. I think this offensive line will get after teams in the run game, pass blocking might still be a puzzle.
