I still remember LSU over Bama in 93'. I was 10 years old and had a football game that day so I didn't get to watch it, but all the Tennessee fans here were giving us shite about it. I still believe if David Palmer qbs the whole game, Bama woulda won. Burgdorf was stupid horrible in that game.

That and 97 UF are two of my favorite LSU games.

It has to be the 93 LSU-Bama game.
It was inexplicable. Bama would have won that game 98 times out of a hundred.
Bama had not lost in 1 1/2 years and LSU was coached by Curley Hallman of Tuscaloosa.
Enough said.

For Bama I'd say 1988 when Ole Miss beat Bama 22-12 at Homecoming. The 1st win for the Rebs over the Tide in the State of Alabama.
Later a brick was thrown through the office window of then HC Bill Curry.

1942 Auburn over UGA (SEC only teams)
The day was Nov. 21, 1942, and the guns of World War II were growing louder Meaher had brought his Auburn football team to play Georgia in a game that seemed a lost cause. In nearby Phenix City, Ala., bookies were giving four or five touchdowns to anyone foolhardy enough to put money on the Tigers. After all, Georgia had Frank Sinkwich ad Charlie Trippi and was on its way to the Rose Bowl.
Football had been a lot of fun at Georgia in 1942. The Bulldogs rolled into Columbus unbeaten. They'd beaten Florida 72-0, the same Florida team that had beaten Auburn 6-0. Auburn was 4-4-1.
But on that day, Meagher's men reached to the sky and brought down a football giant. Meagher had a plan for Georgia, and his players made it work. The stunned Bulldogs, anticipating a rout, had no answer. Auburn won 27-13, and it could have been worse.

Probably so. Palmer's performance in that LSU game was incredible. Fortunately, Stallings replaced Burgdorf with Freddy Kitchens for a few series before he put Palmer in.

A 5-6 over a 7-5 team. Not that big a deal.
GT at 1-10 over 9-1-1 Bama in '81 still has it although not SEC game

Alabama called for holding twice vs Ole Miss in 1967 I think it was.

I'm looking for a losing record non-bowl team beating a 9 win team in SEC.
How about a 2006 road win by a Vandy team that finished 4-8 knocking off a Georgia team that finished 9-4 including a Chik-fik-A Bowl win?
This was Vandy's ONLY conference win as they finished 1-7 in SEC play. Final score was 24-22 and Georgia's scoreboard has never been turned off faster after a game...

Vandy's only other wins that year came against Temple, Duke and Tennessee State.
