9-3 was supposed to be a disappointment for 2022 Aggie.
They have one of the longest tenured SEC head coaches and the 4th most talent in the country.

So the "not getting into UT" thing is a bit overplayed . . .in the 90s you got auto admit for both universities with a fairly ok SAT score.
Most guy beating their chest about academics at either school are old fogs that would not get into either university with todays' standards.
But we should not mistake some perceived slip in Texas admissions with the enormously steep drop to having to go to LSU . . .. the backup school to other backup schools.
And if you want to talk about regrets.

Harold perkins would not have fixed our linebacker play. We need linebackers that can fill gaps and tackle. Perkins gets trucked by 185lb RB’s.
