Also, while cartography is part of my job , it is a very minor part of my job. War fighters want to visualize the battlefield before stepping on the battle grounds. I provide that environment. I dictate doctrine on what we consider proper ways to analyze and portray that, what do you do?

Also if 61k is the average I must be far above average because I make over twice that and I still haven’t maxed out my GS scale at this position. $61k must be the ceiling for LSU folks

Lol, mocking my service now, I’d say ultimate LSU troll but I don’t think you even graduated from LSU. Yes , I’m a Combat Veteran, not an E3 left as an E5 with promotable status had I re-enlisted. I haven’t hurt for a dollar for years and my “Army Buddies” as you put it that I work with dictate how GIS is used at every level of the military.
