right now the sec and big both have six bowl wins, but mizzou is the only sec squad that’s beaten a big team. shame we have to carry the conference like this while bama and scar choke once again. maybe we should demand a larger chunk of the bowl revenue

B1G also has 18 teams vs. SEC 16. They reached 18 by adding good programs Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA. On average, with approximately even teams, the larger conference will yield a slightly better sample because the population from which to choose teams is slightly larger.

The SEC added 2 of the most historic 8 teams all time and blue bloods. USC is one as well, but Oregon/Washington/UCLA (Oregon is getting there) are fine teams but not historical blue bloods like Texas and OU

If you think the games are meaningless you should stay home. I can guarantee every SEC team that plays in a bowl game is going to get the other teams best shot. We are their superbowl.
