Big picture, what's the SEC Rant view of Mizzou as a program/member?

They wont admit this but there is most definitely butt hurt from the mid tier SEC teams that are in jeopardy of being passed up by Mizzou. They can say what they want right here, right now, but their actions and attitude over the longer term pulls the curtain back on their true feelings.

This. Mizzou fans are gonna say last year was a fluke and other fans will say this year with this type of success is a fluke.

You go ahead and decide which was a "fluke" princess.

No doubt. Last year was a complete disaster on many fronts, but mainly we were ravaged on the OL with injuries and lost our QB with no legitimate backup.
Like I said, we won't dominate the East or anything but we will be legit contenders the vast majority of the time. Our "bad years" will be 7-8 wins and our good ones 10+.
I won't be surprised if we win the East again next year with what we have coming back, coupled with UGA and USC losing their QBs.

Mizzou will never even be the biggest thing in Missouri. That will always be the Cardinals, until the state of Missouri no longer exists.
There are a whole bunch of folks in Missouri that couldn't give 2 shits about the Cardinals. Please don't try to speak for all of us.

meh I think they will be a pretty good addition as far as basketball.

Their football team has certainly exceeded my expectations so far. The thing is, the SEC didn't really need another strong football team. What the SEC was looking for was a team that brings a lot of eyeballs. I'm still not convinced that is Mizzou.
And personally, I still think they are a poor fit culturally.
Great season though, and truly surprising that they are already in the SECCG with a very real chance to win the game. It will be kind of ironic if they win in their second year whereas Arkansas and SC have not managed to do it in two decades.

Then you're not paying attention. Our state is college football cray cray this year. And will be next year as well.

You are right. Big time injuries and a lot of them.
By all means though, continue to be an obtuse bitter jack wad.

Maybe because of all the yapping you and the Hogs have launched at Mizzou telling us how shitty we are/were.
You nancies started all this trolling and now that Mizzou has WON the East you all are trying to drop this shitty arse victim play.
