I'm sure that was Peyton Manning. But that was from a time when the league was more unforgiving on QBs. What you left out was the fact that he also threw for nearly 3,800 yards while setting five different NFL rookie records - one of which was admittedly most interceptions thrown by a rookie.

Why are we talking like he played bad. When protected he was accurate and made quick decisions. If green doesn't push off then he leads them to win the game after aa fantastic drive . The shovel pass was dumb but besides that they should be happy with his performance. Thursday night they play a team they should be able to hold up against on the line

Of course your new young hire gets thrown under the bus. What do you want Rhule to concede and take blame week 1. That would create a terrible look. Just push the blame on down the totem pole. This is a common practice in dealing with the media. FWIW i haven't heard anything about Rhule calling him out

If you've been watching any media during covid, they all have been raving about lsu's miraculous season. Everytime I turn on espn I hear about LSU. Its burrow this, or chase that, or coach O. We have been called the unequivocal greatest team ever by many of the highest respected analysts and reporters. If you were associated with a program that is being called the greatest ever wouldn't be proud and want to talk about it too? Or when your team wins do you just go in your room and sit in silence to celebrate. Let the fans enjoy the full year they have of being fans of a championship team
The talking heads are constantly talking about the future of Joe Brady. I certainly believe in Brady but to project an entire career off one season with a loaded roster seems a bit extreme to me. Let the guy learn on the job that's part of the reason you hire Brady is he's young and innovative. Yes he will have hiccups but hes young enough to learn and adapt. Everyone has a learning curve. He just has less of one then other up and coming coaches who flailed out of the league

I don't watch ESPN but I did google "The greatest college football team ever". Of the articles since January 2020 this is what I got...
LSU #6
LSU #3
247 is probably the single most recognized source of college football presently. They didn't do a best of all time article, but this is the best since 2000
LSU #5
The problem for LSU is that the defense finished in the lower half of its own conference. That isn't by any stretch "best ever"

Did you just try and say 247 was more recognized then ESPN??? you lost me there. And yes I've heard at least 5 announcers on ESPN proclaim that we are unequivocally the best ever.
Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. Joe brady gets his arse kissed on live sports television

1) its his first game calling all the plays ever. 2) hes like under 30 and still young and has room to grow. 3) there has to be a learning curve to the NFL. 4)look at saban. Arguable the GOAT at the college level didnt do well in the NFL. I'm not saying this is the case but it's amazing you guys get so hott after someone during week 1 with limited reps in training camp 5) **** Twitter
