Because it seems hypocritical coming from Arkansas fans. On one hand you're saying that Arkansas should be out-right national champions in 1964, all the while it's not even a major poll title. While on the other hand, some of you want to attack any title Alabama claims prior to the existence of major poll titles in 1936.

Yeah... Tulane, Kentucky and Miss State were so rough despite being historically some of the worst programs of all time.. but don't let that fool you.
TCU, Texas A&M and Baylor but blow out those teams for history and it's not close.

Anyone with common sense can see the system (multiple polls from multiple sources which some outlasted others while not making previous ones invalid) was hardly accurate not to mention the SEC had one of the WORST conference setups.
I'm attacking the whole system therefore Army can claim any title they want before the BCS. Stop getting your back up against the wall, ha.
The BCS is by FAR the best setup to date. Every team signed off on the contract how to declare the current champion.

I find this to be a flawed argument. The BCS will eventually be replaced, as the Bowl Alliance (1995-97), Bowl Coalition (1992-94), and the isolated AP/UPI/Coaches' polls (1936-1991) were. People will try and question teams that won BCS titles, when the system is replaced. And it will be replaced at some point. So, I don't understand why you're sitting there trying to question any title Alabama won prior to 1998. Alabama won under the system that was in existence for each of those poll titles. Call bullshite on 1941 all you won't, and put the Rose Bowl titles in perspective. However, don't sit there and question poll titles because of the existence of outliers.

This is the SEC so SWC records have no place here. Lets make it easy, This is Arky's 20th year in the SEC so over the last 20 years in the SEC(not counting this year) how many back to back winning records has LSU had in SEC play vs how many back to back winning records has Arky put up in SEC play?

You are missing the Big difference...
Every single BCS conference and associated teams signed and agreed to the BCS.
That didn't happen prior until 1998.

LSU has more than Arkansas your point?
It still doesn't change the fact we've beaten LSU before while they were #1 and in Baton Rouge. We also have a winning streak against them.
They are like Florida, just finally woke up while being surrounded by resources.
