lol crazy you don't remember the OU-Bama game. I don't blame you for not remembering the Bama Utah game though. This isn't a new thing. Texas was 9-4 coming in with everything to gain. UGA just lost a heartbreaker to Bama and had nothing to gain. Congrats to Texas for winning. It absolutely still counts and it's certainly not Texas' fault for UGA being unmotivated. Still, it's fairly obvious to everyone except Texas fans that UGA didn't want to be there.
That's either a piss poor excuse or a serious lack of character.
Why wouldn't you go into the bowl game ready to prove to the committee that they fricked up?
It's all bullshite and it was proved on the field who the better team was.
Texas >>>> Georgia

Is this a joke? At that point Texas was still in the playoff hunt. The two situations aren't even comparable. Do you really think losing a close game to Maryland is better than losing to LSU?

Thank you A&M guy, the smart ones of the sec apparently. You honestly suck as a person if you don’t get into the playoffs (by your OWN merit mind you, it’s not like you’re getting snubbed you knew it was a 2 loss and you’re out thing) and your response is to just mail it in. On the biggest of stages primetime, the last bowl of the season against one of the biggest teams in the nation mind you. Yea right. The two options are a.) Georgia was trying their hardest and just got punched in the mouth by a more physical and better team or b.) Georgia wasn’t trying their hardest, and is a much shittier and less well coached program than we are all giving them credit to be.
Pick one.
Pick one.

One game does not prove that. Was Auburn a better team than Bama last year? Was Pitt a better team than Clemson the year they won the natty? Since the inception of the playoff, the #5 team is 1-4 in bowl games. It's really not hard to understand why. Was Texas better than an unmotivated UGA team that day? Yes. Does that mean Texas was better than UGA that year? No. UGA still has a better record than Texas.

They weren't even decent. They were bad.

How do y’all not understand that the sec teams have higher “strength of schedule” simply from the committee sec bias
So the the sagarin ratings and all other computer ranking formulas are part of a conspiracy to favor the SEC?

Maryland also almost beat ohio state. They bad?

One game in the postseason DOES prove that. That’s why they call it the postseason. You have a month to prepare numbnuts.
Posted on 1/4/19 at 2:48 pm to arinze
lol no it doesn’t. How long did Texas have to prepare for Maryland? I guess Maryland is way better since Texas had much longer than a month to prepare.

Ohio state got the shite beat out of them by Purdue. 5he same Purdue that auburn fricked in the arse using sand as lube. Maryland was 5-7. One close game that they still lost doesn't change that.

Texas, as a team, obviously saw growth from the beginning of the season to this point. Georgia saw a slight decline if anything. And y’all are telling me UT DOESNT make the CFP next year? Lol. Besides Clemson and bama who is the justifiable 3rd favorite? I’m all ears

Mississippi state was ranked all year but couldn’t beat iowa???? What???? Literally a bunch of dim witted cornfield boys
One word, "Maryland".
You seem to argue against yourself in most of your posts. Missisppi State's loss is bad but Texas does not have any bad losses? Your logic is making me dizzy.

Depends on if Riley is the coach OU fans shout from the mountaintop that he is. If he can effectively replace the entire OL, OU has Texas number. Personally, I expect Texas to win the BDF next year
Then get their shite pushed in at the CFP. Like OU ...

Texas didn’t see any growth. They played down to their competition all year. UGA saw growth until the SECC, then quit on the year. I have no clue if Texas will make the CFP next year. They certainly have a real possibility of doing so considering there’s little separation between them and OU. If Texas stops playing down to its competition, then they’ll certainly be a favorite to make it.

No, the logic is Texas has more big wins against marquee schools than anyone, and the one losss y’all seem to be obsessed with occurred IN THE FIRST WEEK OF THE SEASON. So damn petty lol. You don’t see anyone else bringing up week 1 and for obvious reason—- it’s irrelevant. Since then, Texas has only beaten 5 ranked teams(including 2 top 5) lost to one top 10 by 1 point off a 50/50 2 point conversion literally anyone’s game. Y’all are really just scared because Texas is back....... and I don’t blame you fellas I would be too.

Texas also lost to OkSU, and WVU. Neither of which is actually very good. So where are these marquee wins? I count one in the regular season against OU. And Texas lost the rematch, which is why they played a completely uninspired UGA team
Look at Texas season, and it isn't very impressive. Herman is always good for a WTF loss or two. And one or two upsets as well

Texas’s season wasn’t impressive? Oh lol and I’m so sure you think y’alls was winning a bowl game you were heavily favored in against a coach who literally let’s all his good kids sit bowl games. At least Georgia trotted everyone out (only ONE guy sat for draft, way less than most teams). To say that WVU with Grier wasn’t good is stupidity. Oklahoma state may have been unpredictable, but they also just beat one of the SEC’s premier teams this year and 2nd best quarterback. So like...........

You've beaten 3 ranked teams. Georgia. Oklahoma, and Iowa state.
West Virginia is not top 10.
