Listen... we BOTH know you guys would toss Bielema out on his big arse if Sumlin would come to Arkansas.
You know it and I know it. Everyone here except for Stonehog knows it.

already had an offensive guru with no defense, just like you we maxed out at 11 wins, a cotton bowl and third in the West. we have higher expectations at the Flagship

You know at the rate of return that Texas A&M is getting out of Sumlin, it'll probably take about 35 more years for them to win their first SEC football title and their endowment will be down to about $670 and change to go with the title to a dusty patch of tapped out Kerrville johnson grass.

0-8 in 2013 is a lot more relevant than Rose Bowls he went to by beating Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern and Illinois.
Those teams he consistently beat were about on Rutgers' level wouldn't you say? then why did we lose to them last year? did he just forget how to coach all of a sudden? Sounds like its a talent problem to me
Its funny all the people who said we should hire an offensive guru like sonny dykes don't think hes a bad coach after he went 0-8 in conference...hmm

People who say "stars don't matter" don't understand statistics.
Well to say stars matter would be false also. I think they matter to an extent. Really there are about 10-15 equally as talented teams in a given year. If a school has the #1 class and has 2 more 5* players than the team that is ranked #5, it doesn't mean the team with the #1 class is better. Or you can be like USC and sign 15 5* players but still not be good cus you couldn't fill team needs with limited scholarships.
Plus you have guys that live in rural areas and go to poor schools. Sometimes they just didn't get the exposure or lacked funds to make it to camps.

Bret Bielema's Arkansas went 0-8 in conference and is currently being lapped in recruiting by Kentucky. Hence this talk about stars.
There's no light at the end of this tunnel, but at least Bret has a litany of excuses that'll carry him through year three.

Except for the win column
took Miles 4 years to lose as many games as BB has in one year
or it's close anyway
