I bet that would hold true for most of the individuals who are rushing to his defense. He needs to let his on the field stuff speak for itself.

FWIW, he only started after @Bamaninja started tweet stalking and bashing him. Had he never done any of that, Zeke wouldn't have fired back. Regardless, it was stupid on both parts and it isn't that big of a deal.

I think it's funny that I never said it was normal to start with.

If you honestly think about, it's not that unusual.

Alabama and Auburn fans love to hate each other (yes, even during the off season). There's been assaults at the IB, property damage and even tree poisoning done in the name of their school. I'm not saying it's right by any means, but it happens.

He didn't get kicked out of the camp, he was ejected from a game. According to Pike it was a misunderstanding and the ref later apologized for over reacting.

So when he told Geno to not go be a dog in the pound, was that the REC forcing his hand?

Agreed. What is a big deal is Kevin Scarbinsky's homosexual tendencies.

Apparently not. He still has every offer that he had before the 7on7 camp. I doubt his mommy and daddy went home and gave his a spanking because he tossed the ball to the ref. Everyone is judging the dude based on tweets and shite. None of you know him IRL. I still find it comical that you all are so butthurt over it in the first place.

I posted this earlier, but @Bamaninja started it, and Zeke just fired back. No big deal, IMO...

It's not worth much. He is a QB. QBs are held to a higher standard. He should maintain his calm and composure regardless of what others are saying. He is going to hear all kinds of shite in SEC stadiums. He needs to not let that type of garbage cost him his focus. It's petty to get caught up in it all.

That said, I do think it is important that he have people around him to provide him with "life coaching" as well so he can learn how to properly handle those situations in the future. Again, it sounds like that is exactly what Gus has done and I commend him for that.

Can you give me a link to one other high school recruit tweeting trash about another school? There's thousands of recruits out there, so finding one should be easy.

And, the rest of that article

quote:

In all my years of covering these types of events in which players pay their way to them, I have never seen an ejection. The referees were overly involved compared to how they normally are in this atmosphere. It seemed as though flags were flying all day long on both fields. Pair that with high emotions and 85-degree temperatures and it is a caustic situation. Pike was not right to throw the ball in the direction of the official, but it didn’t seem like the intent was there to hit him, but only Pike knows that for sure.

Seems to match up with the article I posted indicating the referee admitted to over reacting.

Your bold points still dont outweigh the fact that the guy has never seen an ejection at a camp that the players pay for...the refs obviously felt there was some intent there or it wouldnt have escalated to an ejection...read between the lines alil...sheesh

The guy's whole point was that the refs were overly sensitive and more involved than he has ever seen.

You mean the ref that acknowledged he over reacted? Read the black ink.
