This is exactly the same circumstances Saban found when he arrived at Bama. The only difference is that Saban had a few more years on Gus - Saban already had his "Process" in place to whip his program into shape.
Gus will be basically learning on the job at huge SEC program. I will say that having Ellis & Charlie available if for nothing more than a sounding board with experience & wisdom should be a plus for any relatively new head coach.
Gus has a good staff mix, IMO. Young & energetic coaches, older more experienced coaches, and a couple of AU alum that are "Auburn" at heart. Those guys should be able to turn things around, it just might take a little time and some patience from the fanbase.
This is a fair assessment. No doubt, Auburn was a shiteshow this year but I think the pieces are in place and Gus seems tuned into the needs of the immediate needs of the program

As a die-hard Bammer, I have a duty to put you Aubs down at every turn. Now, putting my Bama bias aside, I think AU can expect a good hardworking staff that will get y'all back to being competitive again.

Might be hard for you to believe this but some people have jobs......BTW: I'm just very familiar with an FSU signee that was recruited by DC from my hometown and that is what he was telling this former recruits father and I may see his father this weekend and ask him about this turn of events.

So to answer my question, yes, as usual. You are AUBsessed. Whats the deal? did some Aub bang your mom in front of you, when you were a kid?
BTW, I am still waiting on your account from a past thread about UGA being hosed down after a win in the 80's.

Yes, I am very well aware of it. I was just waiting on your account, since you said, when I described it, as false. So what is your version?

I think Malzahn will do well right off the bat. Arky St. had the fewest starters returning in the Sun Belt and he won that league his 1st year, including winning 8 straight to close the season. AU has the players to make some noise, just need the structure.

With the addition of these coaches I can see Auburn in 2 to 3 years over taking Miss St for 6th in the SEC West

So what is your version?
Barners want to talk about hosing the fans that stormed the field and as they claim those fans were tearing up the field but how about the Georgia fans that were NOT on the field but in the stands that got hosed ?????
Classy.......
What say you about that???????
Left that small detail out of your version so I guess you don't have a problem with it.
