Sam was an awesome college football player that has done an honorable of trying not to compromise his personal beliefs and orientation in a sports field that heretofore hasn't been willing to accept such individuals.
Manziel was an awesome college football player that insists on being a professional a-hole.

Why are you comparing Michael Sam to that douchebag? Because he's gay? Big deal. He's actually a pretty cool dude and he certainly doesn't throw his life away by partying 24/7 while doing illegal drugs. It's a shame that he is looked down upon as a human being because of a sexual preference.

i would have no problem having a gay man/woman representing but i think sam has been a bit of an attention whore since he's left mizzou.

I'd MUCH rather have a guy like Sam being an attention whore for a cause that's actually kind of a big deal politically right now than a guy like Manziel pissing away his life with drugs and alcohol, picking up a DV charge along the way.

It isn't a legit question at all.
Sam's a diva drama queen, but that's a VERY minor character flaw when compared to Johnny.

i said neither- i most definitely didn't say i would choose manziel. hell i wouldn't choose manziel to pump my gas, i'm afraid he'd try to huff it.
sam wasn't being political and trying to further the gay cause he was trying to get a reality show.
