This win could possibly be good for Rebels. We'll see how they respond against Vandy next week on the road.

You continue to play like that, and you'll be lucky to get to Shreveport. Any team with a pulse on offense would have finished Ole Miss off by the half.

Weren't you 3-0 this time last year? Ranked pretty high too? Not saying we are going to beat you but dude, you never know what is going to happen. Oh, and 2 years removed from the NC is about as relevant as our 1957 NC......not at all.

It would be foolish to suggest the West is between Bama and the Barn. LSU is also undefeated and has the talent to beat anyone in the country much less the SEC West. If Bama plays up to their capability, they will go to Atlanta but strange things can happen on the way to the party and it will take a maximum effort every week and a little bit of luck to make that happen. It's only week three and already three Top 5 teams have lost.

In all honest the power rankings for the West look like this.

Alabama
LSU
Auburn
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Miss State

Arkansas will beat Auburn and Ole Miss this year.

Ole Miss is not out of it yet they still have Bama and LSU at home. I said from the beinning they would finish third in the West and I actually predicted them to lose tonight. Auburn until they show life on defense will finish either 4th or 5th, I still dont think they are as good as Ole Miss and LSU.

Actually, I think 3rd place is all of us. Let's see what Arky does against Bama, how OM bounces back and how well we play against UT. After that, we may have a clear idea.

Ole Miss will beat Vandy next week. Vandy has the same problem Tennessee has (pretty good defense, but absolutely no offense what so ever). Auburn has Ball State this week which is a W and I'm hoping Arkansas can pull something off against Alabama. But, realistically the tide will roll them

Actually, 1957 is one of the few years they don't claim.

Alabama was something like 2-8 in 1957. Coach Bryant arrived in 1958.
