Are you really using his wildcat experience from 2011 as a reason why he did better throwing the ball against LAMO?

Of course not. That would be ridiculous. However anyone who has ever actually played sports knows that you're going to be more comfortable during your 14th game than you were during your 2nd. That's common sense.

Why even compare Frazier and Allen?

What is the title of the thread? Who is penciled in to be the starter at Arkansas? Who was 2nd string? You don't think the QB is an important part to the success of either team?

Nice straw man, Chach.

I meant why compare Frazier to anyone at this point. You can't honestly believe that Brandon Allen is worse than Kiehl Frazier. And you used a game in which Allen only played one half as your only means of comparison.

No, but I remember that time that Auburn rode a stellar offensive line and future NFL back to an 8-5 season and a 3-5 SEC record.

Having said that, I do think y'all will be much improved. Five wins is probably worst case for Auburn this year, with 7 or even 8 a real possibility.

When, pray tell, is the last time AU won at LSU? May not be a toss up after all.

when was the last time auburn lost all their sec games in one season prior to last year?

Just an example of why I wouldn't hang my hat on history as the end all be all.

Even though i agree with you that at lsu certainly isn't a toss up, i think there are more stable grounds upon which to rest your case than 'when was the last time auburn won at lsu'

oh and auburn has a better record than arky next year...because i'm a homer.

So, just so I'm straight, you are equating a sample size of 14 years encompassing seven games in Baton Rouge where Auburn went 1-6 to a one year sample size? It is the same issue when LSU goes to JHS at Pat Dye Field at Cam Newton stolen computer lab. The history suggests that the away team will struggle. It is because Auburn and LSU have impact venues. Just about every other SEC team doesn't.

I'm saying that you have a better football team and that should be your starting point for why it's not a toss up, not becuase it's at LSU.

We have a different team (slightly), different coach, and different mentality, all of which i woudl say play more into being able to overcome being a vistiing team..moreso than not having the talent to compete at least.

Why so testy? Do you just not like all jokes or do you dislike only those jokes about auburn, or only those jokes about Cam?

Testy? I thought we were having a discussion, not trading poor digs at one another.

I made a request, wasn't being testy.

Interesting fix. I guess my response would be are you comparing an obvious outlier to a trend that is pretty well documented in this series?

So all Auburn jokes. Got it. In any event, I agree with your analysis, but I would point out that the Gus offense can be a game changer if the triggerman is up to snuff. I just don't see the game as a toss up. Now if Ole Miss fans are to be believed . . .
