DaleDenton lives to flame LSU and is perhaps the worst poster on the Sec rant. Even his fellow Hog fans know this.
UF better recruiting base? No doubt. But better fan support than LSU?? Otay!!
Hey DaleDenton,
LSU > Arkansas. DWI!!

USC. UF, and Texas have to be the 3 easiest schools to recruit to....

I would say 1.Texas and 2.Florida.
USC is a different animal. they may well be top 3, but some parents are likely to be hesitant about sending their kids out to LA, into an allegedly dangerous neighborhood. but they definitely have other advantages. its subjective anyway.

I don't know the answer, but some schools scare off propects with their expectations. Take bama (can't say it ain't a good job), but they got turned down by a lot of folks, before they backed up a Brinks Truck to Sabans house.

It's an apples/oranges debate

Florida produces the best D-1 talent in the country, but everyone in the country recruits Florida.

Louisiana produces great talent, but not in the same numbers. If Lsu loses out on some of the top in state talent and it becomes habitual, then Lsu is a mediocre program. 25-50 in Florida is going to be better than 25-50 in Louisiana, so UF has a larger margin for error. As long as Lsu has a good coach though the majority of the talent will stay in state, because if they don't the psycho "you turned your back on the boot you're never welcome back" crowd will bad mouth them at every opportunity.

Texas is the best job in the country. Kids that grow up in Texas want to play for Texas. Moreso than Cali kids and SC and Florida kids and UF.

LSU

rationale: monopoly on recruiting in a talent-rich state.

Surely you're joking?

LSU has hotter girls than UF.

Has Fla hired a head coach yet or do they still have MusLoser?

I would say USC, Texas and Miami are the easiest places to recruit.

Miami has subpar facilities though. Everything else sells itself though, weather, beaches, tradition etc...

Miami does not even have a fb stadium on their campus. Is that not a deterant?

Miami is pretty bad right now. Awful facilities, fans only show up when they're doing great, stadium is 45 minutes from campus, and the current administration doesn't give a shite about football (or any sports outside of baseball actually).

Edit: It's also a very small private school compared to UF, FSU, USF, UCF, etc.

Even if they pull in most of the south Florida recruits, they will field a top team. Still UF being the flagship of Florida should be able to do well down there and all over Florida including the panhandle. Also the Atlantic seaboard states.

Alabama had, and still has the longest sellout streak in the SEC

It's not even possible that Bama carried that streak through to Saban. Not a chance in freaking hell.

This is like the Team Jacob v. Team Edward arguments amongst teenage girls.

I gave Florida the slight edge because I think it's a slightly better job in a slightly better location. That's all. You are both top 10 if not top 5 coaching destinations.

Anybody on here saying "______ and it's not even close" is either a fricking idiot or is deliberately trolling/flaming.
