That's a cute video and all but that's not "abusing" a DB

I never said "abusing", but it certainly indicates Julio did in fact do something while PP7 was covering him. Both made plays. Both were top 6 picks. Both were great college players and will be great NFL players.

That said, I would say dragging a grown man 5 yards in front of a national tv audience, as Julio did to PP7 in the first video I posted, could be categorized by some as "abuse".

Hahaha, they were both 18 years old then. You Gumps have a funny view on things.

Not sure why you are bringing up that they were both 18. Is it to say they weren't grown men? Both could have been fighting for our country at that age. I'd call that grown.

Oregon offense this year does not possess the same firepower as last year's. Anyone who can't see that has no business discussing college football.

They were both still "college football young" and what's really amazing on that single play you're jerking off to is Julio allowed PP7 to pull him down by his shirt.

They put up 600yds and 69 points last week.

Against Nevada. Hell, State put up over 500 yards and 59 points against Memphis. We saw their O isn't legit.

LSU is a very strong football team and a dominating defense. People like you need to recognize that when others disagree with your opinion it isn't a personal assult.

As for your claim that Julio allowed PP to drag him down by his shirt, you obviously have never played football. Players get tackled by a dead-weight player on the ground holding onto a jersey for all they've got all the time. They usually don't drag said dead weight player for 5 yards first as Julio did to PP.

This Julio/PP debate is tired. Both were great. To say one is better than the other is subjective. Julio managed to get open on PP enough to have catches. PP managed to cover Julio enough to limit those catches.

What's the common denominator for Oregon & MSU's offensive struggles again?

I don't feel assaulted. I just like how Bama fans can't possibly believe that another defense can possibly match up to the almighty Saban coached team.

Julio should have scored on that play. The both showed some amazing strength on that one play.

SEC teams will beat Oregon because they are much more physical, and have speed too.

So what about LSU completely shutting down an offense that put up over 300yds rushing the first two games? You're going to discount that too? That would make two big offenses that LSU has shut down this year. How many can Bama claim so far? Unless I don't know something about Kent St.

At this point it is no question LSU. Bama has not faced a legit offense.

LSU's defensive line is better, Alabama's linebacker corps is better, the secondary is a push.

I'm going to say that they are about even.

LSU is more than tested right now. LSU gets the edge. Y'all have a big one next week though. We'll definitely see how good or bad your secondary is.

What stat can Tide fans point to that makes them feel their defense is better than LSU's?

Honest question.

Um, how about total defense and scoring defense from last year? In case you're unaware, we have 10 returning starters from what was already the best defense in the conference statistics-wise. Does that answer your question?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not last year.

LSU. Alabama may have better linebackers, but LSU has the better defensive line and secondary.
