Just curious where you would rank the SEC jobs taking your school out of the mix if you were a head coach and all 13 were open:

1. Florida
2. Bama
3. Georgia
4. Texas A&M
5. Auburn
6. Tennessee
7. Arkansas
8. South Carolina
9. Missouri
10. Ole Miss
11. Mississippi State
12. Kentucky
13. Vandy

I really think UK cares only for hoops. I think Vandy would like to excel at several sports.

Seems like the pressure at UGA is pretty low for the HC.

It would hurt my lazy brain too much to rank them, but here's what I think...I'd want a long term job which means I'd have to meet the expectations of my fan base. The expectations are different for every team. If you lost 3 games per year at Alabama, you'd last 4 years at the most. If you lost 3 games per year at Vanderbilt, you'd have a job until you died. So, based on the expectations of the respective fan base and the probability of achieving that expectation I surmise the winner to be....Mississippi State. Win six games including Ole Miss (while making fun of us) and you'll retire a millionaire in Starkville.

other than past 2-3 years, has Auburn EVER came close to UT in recruiting?

Yea, sure isn't high enough to fire a guy who won 10 games and went to Atlanta. When will those damn bulldogs learn.

UT-Aub is close but they have had 2 undefeated seasons since you were last relevant

I'll concede that Auburn has done more with less in the early 2000's, but no UT was top2 or top3 in the conference in recruting back then.

3. UGA
4. A&M
5. UT
6. Auburn
7. Arkansas
8. Mizzou
9. USC(I think the only reason I list Mizzou higher is that it is the only 1-A team in the state)
10. Ole Miss
11. Miss St.
12. Vandy
13. UK

AU overachieves more than any club in the league I think. Sort of like the anti-UGA.

Times have changed. Current coach and last coach are no-brainer HOFers, right?
