LSU fan living in Starkville....yes, sad. But, I have my tickets for the LSU-Mississippi game Saturday. My swim team has a meet at Miss. State and it's not expected to end until 4 p.m. So, it'll be close as hell getting there. Mapquest is a disaster it appears on this drive. What's the best route getting there assuming the trafic? Also, best parking on campus? I have to get there by mid-first before the game's over.

The quickest way and the way with the least traffic is a cluster frick, but other than that ur going way out of ur way with a bunch of traffic.
Go west on 82 get off and go North at Eupora on what I believe is hwy 9. The. Follow 9 all the way through Calhoun city and Bruce until it runs into hwy 7 then just follow 7 into Oxford. Make sure u stay on 9W otherwise u will end up in pontatoc

Are you thinking about hwy 6 that goes to Pontotoc?

Wear your purple and yellow stuff and hitchhike. Some friendly person will pick you up.

I'm pretty sure there's a one lane dirt road that runs directly from stankville to oxfart.

Most of it really isn't much more than that

Probably won't be much traffic coming-in from the East.
Head up towards Tupelo then cut over. Easy drive. Enjoy!

Coming from the east is always the best bet. Just come on 6 east and head towards coliseum and you will find the best free parking.

Yeah. Take 82 East and take the ALT 45 exit. Turn left. Follow 45 about an hour or so up to Tupelo. Exit onto 78 towards Memphis. Go like 8 miles down the road and take the "sherman" exit. Turn left. Take that 10 miles down till you get to 6 and then it's just a simple straight shot to Oxford.
That's like a 2hr drive total for me. Not too bad. Just boring as hell.
There is a way to get on Hwy 6 from Tupelo, but I don't know that way. I'm sure some of the Mississippi people know.

Get off of Hwy 45 onto Main St. in Tupelo. Follow it all the way out of town, and it eventually runs into Hwy 6. I think the way through Eupora and Calhoun City is faster though, but like others have said, it's through the middle of nowhere.

Going through Tupelo adds 30-45 minutes to the trip.
The fastest way is to Eupora and then cut up north. I Always went that way when I was in college at State and went to visit friends at OM.

Wow, that is comedy gold. This is pure genius for a 10 year old. But really, do your parents know you are on the computer or are you really that retarded?
