The best returning backfield in CFB has to be Texas A&M.

Isaiah Spiller - The top 2022 draft eligible RB

Devon Achane - one of the fastest players in CFB (6th in the World 200m) 2023 Eligible

Ainias Smith - RB/WR hybrid who I think is a Day 2 lock at worst in 2022 #GigEm

They definitely don’t suck, but are they actually the best? No idea. UGA has a stable, ISU still has brycee hall, OSU is always stacked and I have no clue who they lost, plus auburn has arguably the best back in the nation returning.

Doesn't the "backfield" include the QB?

Alabama's has a very high ceiling. Lots of guys that haven't got much opportunity, besides Robinson, who looked like an animal much of the last season.

I mean, so does LSU, but high ceiling isn’t the question.

Good stable of running backs, but the quarterback is also part of the backfield. No way you can call A&M's the best in CFB with a brand new starter.

True but Bama's backfield and QB is going to have to prove it this season.

I'll go with the team that returns all of their backfield that led the conference in rushing last year. This team was also 3rd in passing (QB is a part of the backfield).

LSU's 2 qbs were around 60% playing with the first team offense, and had such little depth at running back the spring game was all pass plays
