According to Chris Lowe:

"The Hogs return their top five receivers from a year ago, including Williams at the tight end position..... In SEC games only, Greg Childs was the league leader a year ago in receiving yards per game (92.1), yards per catch (23), receiving yards (737) and touchdown catches (six). In short, not only is this the best receiving corps in the SEC, it rates up there among the best in the country"

Lowe breaks down Auburn today as well.

I have no clue how to grab the link from my Blackberry so you'll have to find his ESPN page on your own.

Is that uncommon for a predominantly passing team?

The real question is how will the Hogs handle Mallet hiccuping in all the big games?

Have they brought in a QB to play against the good defensive teams?

Guy threw 30 TDs and only 4 TOTAL against Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and LSU

Just because people recognize how overhyped Julio is doesn't mean they also can't admit to another school's WR corps being better than theirs.

"Big Games" for a 1st year SEC starter:

@#1 Bama, @#2 Florida, @#13 LSU, @#17 Ole Miss.....

900 yards, 4 TD's, 1 Int

Performances for the history books? No

Solid considering the caliber of opponenent on the road from a 1st year SEC starter? Yes

We'll see how overhyped he is when he goes off for another bill on LSU, and gets drafted in the first round. All I'm saying...

FYI, there's a difference between being a solid receiver and being overhyped. He is both.

This is an awesome example of importance of QB play. This is the reason Lafell's best season was as a sophmore. Instead of being called the nation's best WR he was all but forgotten last year.

Now Arkansas has an outstanding QB, then all of a sudden there are articles about their wonderful WRs. Give those guys JJ and they're nothing.
