Definitely one for the ages. UA played their perfect game for the first quarter. Auburn refused to lose. Even down 24 points, this team finds ways to win. War Damn Eagle. Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer Go to Hell Alabama!!!!!!!!

This one goes in the big book of classics.

Up there with Punt Bama Punt, the kick, the Mountaintop game, all of them.

No the best IB games were 2008 and 1971. Blowouts by the best team.

Hardly.

The Van Tiffin kick game had four lead changes in the fourth quarter.

This is nowhere near that.

Auburn fans will love it forever, of course...but its not going to be one of those that both sides recognize as the best ever.

Great game.

It would have been in LSU's best interest for Auburn to lose, but I could never pull for the biggest jerk in the sports world. Saban's personality sent Drew Brees to the Saints, there is a good side to all evil. He is amongst his own in Tuscaloosa.

what? we just came from 24 back on the road in the midst of a national title run. it is without a doubt one of the top 5 of all time, and one of the biggest wins in auburn history.

well obviously, youll never get that. neither team is going to say a losing game is the best ever

Easily top 5.

1989
1985
1972
2010

In no particular order. #5 behind those 4 is probably 1982.

To the contrary, I know and have met hundreds of Auburn fans who think the Van Tiffin kick game was one of, if not THE, best ever.

I guess you had to be alive to see it to understand...

Count me in there.

Most exciting: 1985
Most significant: 1989

This one was the biggest comeback and certainly ONE of the most significant and one of the most exciting.

The enjoyment in winning this one ranks with the dissappointment of the 1985 game.

Nothing will ever top or compare to Dec 2, 1989 though.

I was actually going to mention the significance of the '89 game too...great for WHAT it was, if not for the game itself.

Yep. Not the most exciting, but the most significant.

It may not be the best Iron Bowl ever, but it was definitely one of the biggest choke jobs in history.

The vast majority of Auburn's games have been exciting, LSU's too. Tomorrow's game should be great.

Does anyone think AU can commission Danial Moore to paint a picture of "The Rally"?

'89 & '85 were great games. Today's game goes up there, but I'm not sure where.
