Capps was decent as a RT. He was lost as a LT in 2005. The bucket step technique of Bob Connelly didn't help. He single handily handicapped Alabama's offense, and then went on to do the same at UCLA. Somehow he's a OC with UTEP.

Decent seems like a bit of an overstatement. But fair enough, I agree he was getting no help from Connelly. For a while there I was fine with Shula coming back as long as he fired Connelly. Thankfully that didn't happen.

If this was for your school, then it'd be hard for me to pick one for Carnell Williams. Between his 40 carries for 202 yards against Syracuse, 6 tds against State, or 200+ against Bama in 03.

Best performances from other teams though:

Leinart 03
Calvin Johnson 05
Greene/Johnson 02

On a serious note

04 Texas Cedric Benson ran all over the hogs

03 Auburn- Ronnie and Cadillac..Jesus

09- Ole Miss Dexter McCluster tore us up

07- Cotton Bowl against Missouri. Tony Temple ran for 9 million yards. Reggie Herring also did something I don't think will ever be done again. Ran 2 fake punts in a row with the 1st one being called back with a flag.

The Rohan and Reed show in 2001. Hands down the most impressive I've ever seen.

Reed had 19 catches in that game....ridiculous.

Whatever blowout LSU laid on us during the Fran era circa 2001. That is the only Bama game I ever left in the third quarter.

Rohan or whomever LSU had throwing the ball was destroying us.

My personal best performance was staying the entire awful 9-0 Iron Bowl my freshman year of college. My tie froze to my cup (i have a picture of this somewhere). Thats dedication.

That would be 2001. Alabama beat LSU 31-0 in 2002.

This. But how could you forget Darren McFadden rushing for 321 against us the week before? That was the greatest performance I have ever seen.

I watched Josh Reed catch like 40 passes in 2001, until I got so drunk I couldn't see the last 20 catches he made. Incredible.

i think we are the only team that guy ever had success against but he would kill us with the bootleg.

Cannot believe none of the Bama fans mentioned David Palmer against Ole Miss.

I think it was around 1993, Ole Miss had (I think the #1 or #2 defense in the nation - Cassius Ware was a LB). In Oxford...Ole Miss knocks the Bama QB out of the game and Bama is losing if I remember correctly.

They put David Palmer in at QB and everyone in the stadium knows he is going to run it every play and Ole Miss still could not stop him.

Statistically, I doubt it was a top 10 performance for him. However, it was unbelievable to watch in person.
