Both Elam and Stingley were studs. Stingley got more recognition because he was rated higher coming out and had a starting spot going into the year. Then LSU was the best team in the country. Both are really talented, Stingley has more gifts iyam as a natural athlete.

Elam got burned in that game, and so did Stingley. Watch the first drive of the second half for Florida again.

It’s a good thing there’s season long metrics to determine who had the better year, such as passer rating on targets when the guy is in coverage.

Don’t care what the stats say. That kid from LSU is the real deal.

Y'all cant use our game to say Stingley was better. We picked him apart the entire first half. He made an int but that wasn't some elite play. Trask threw it right into three LSU players after the Jones sub debacle

To be fair, poor little elan was going up against the best quarterback and offense in college football history.

Stingley went through a baptism by fire all season and was excellent by any standard while still making freshman mistakes.

Elam didn't shoulder near the responsibility or face the same challenge game in and out.

This isn't a competition at all.

You know it’s actually a good thing when CB’s aren’t targeted, right? If you actually watched LSU last year, you would see stingley was the best freshman CB in the country.

Dumb post. Stingley would be a first round pick this year if he was in the NFL draft.
