corndog

That term is so silly when applied to LSU fans. It was actually stolen from the old Big Eight...they referred to Nebraska fans by the moniker. Which makes sense.

I've never actually been tempted to eat a corndog in my entire life. True story.

There are definitely worse nicknames out there.

Worse, maybe. More inappropriate though? I'm from Missouri on that one.

To paraphrase WC Fields, if I ever got the urge to eat a corndog, I'd immediately lie down until it went away.

Real corndogs are awesome. The state fair of Texas corndogs are incredible.

That frozen shite you can buy at the store is awful though.

That's what I meant to get across. They sell those 1 foot ones at LSU baseball games and I have to say that they are delicious.

Yeah i have seat in the Corner for a half decade as a student and they aren't that bad. However the Corners in kyle field are some the worst seats in Football the stadium is square so when you sit there you can't see shite.

Only the south corners were that horrible (by design btw ).

Won't be an issue going forward.

My understanding is the nickname has nothing to do with eating and everything to do with smelling.

Heh, let's compare BDS with TS...

BDS

TS (rendering of finished expansion)

Note the distance of seats from the bleachers to the field, and the amount of chairback seats in each stadium. What you can't see is how much more premium seating overall TS has than BDS. Or how much closer seats are to restrooms and concessions.

Ask yourself as a visiting fan, where would you rather sit? How close are you to exits, restrooms, and concessions?

BDS

TS

Ask yourself, which upper deck would you rather sit in? How close are you to exits, restrooms, and concessions?

BDS

TS

Ask yourself, which lower bowl would you rather sit in? How close are you to exits, restrooms, and concessions? How close is your seat to the field?

BDS

TS

If you're honest, right now, Tiger Stadium.

Says the fan base who stole the moniker from Nebraska fans in the first place.
