Xeno- please post the 10 SEC teams this decade you think have more talent than UF or Bama this year.

Yes I absolutely believe McClain vs. Tebow is a much more impactful matchup than Bush vs. Young.

I can't believe this thread made it this many pages.

JB Bama - your knowledge of college football history seems lacking. This thread should embarrass you.

Especially since Bush never went against Young they just watched each other from the sidelines.

Awesome...just awesome.

So McClain and Tebow will both be drafted in the top 5 this year? They'll both finish 1-2 (Leinart) in the heisman voting? Do you even remember the Texas/USC game?

If Bush scores 3 TDs against UT's defense, and Young scores 2 TD's against USC's which was more impressive?

If Tebow ducks his head down and trucks McClain there will be a clear winner and loser.

Both Young and Bush had successful games against the other team's somewhat soft defense.

When Young ran in for the go ahead TD who was trying to tackle him? What have those guys done in the NFL?

This is an entirely different matter.

I already said there was more star power in the 2006 Rose bowl, but this game has a better match up.

So you want me to name all of the USC defenders in that game that played in the NFL?

Do you watch the NFL? Did you watch that game?

How old are you?

Texas defending Rose Bowl champions

meaningless, they didn't play USC the year before.
Advantage Bama UF rematch.

Holy. shite.

I guess this year's Miss St./Auburn game was a bigger game than the National Championship game will be this year.

I mean, afterall, the 2 teams that will be playing for the NC won't be a rematch, whereas Miss St./Auburn this year was a rematch

OOC records beg to differ. I love how last year the SEC was down, now this year the SEC is down. I guess as long as Bama keeps tearing the SEC West a new one the SEC will be down.

If you played Fla every year you would know better.

Tebow will steam roll McClain.

That's dumb - last year the SEC was not down, and was by far the best conference in cfb. But if you can't admit that this is the worst the SEC has been in 5 years, then you're delusional. Still probably the best conference, but only by default

Yup, only 10 out of the 12 teams made bowls this year. Damn, what a tragic year for the SEC. Get real.

Nope, the evidence points to the contrary. But we will take your word for it.

When LSU is the 3rd best team in the conference this year, the conference is not great. It's OK to admit it - it doesn't diminish Bama's accomplishments. Bama can still win the National Title and be a great team, they don't have to be the greatest team of all time in the greatest conference of all time.

Don't care if we are considered the worst national championship ever as long as we win one. However, you're very much wrong about the SEC this year.
