I stand behind my statements the two best teams in the country play tomorrow, when you factor in the talent, coaches, records, awards of these two programs at this current time it's the pinnacle of college football.
Both schools have a heisman candidate, Florida has a former winner. Both schools come in undefeated.
Alabama will have 5 1st team all-americans. Both teams have first round NFL talent starting. The two combined will put more than 16 players in the NFL draft this year (which is more than USC/Texas) and they will have more than 10 total first rounders (more than FSU/Miami 1987). The game is a rematch of last year which none of the other "games of the century" can claim and it is a clash between what are considered the top two coaches in college football.
I'll gladly wager on the amount of talent these teams will put in the draft this year.
Looking at it objectively this is the top matchup the SEC has ever put together. To even find a game to compare to it you'd have to go back to 2005/2006 season which was considered the game of the century. OSU/Michigan can't begin to touch this game.
I don't have to have any support in this argument the number of All-Americans, All-SEC, and NFL prospects that will play in this game will stand up on it's own in years to come. I'll gladly pull this up during the next few NFL drafts to help seperate who is really delusional on here.
Thank you for your time and I'll submit a new thread to piggy back along with this one.

Talentwise, I am not sure this even equals the regular season AU-UF game I noted. And that is not even taking into account a shitload of other national games.
Not sure 52 players on the rosters tomorrow will sign with NFL teams. And there are not going to be 5 1st round NFL runningbacks on the field tomorrow.

Then take Arrakis up on his bet.
BTW This is one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever seen on this site. This is right up there with the rant deciding that Jacob Hester > Mcfadden

Yes, the next NFL draft.
Bama + UF will have 16 or more drafted.
I'm not sure why you think this is an ambigous statement.

doubtful, but that in and of it self only means they have more guys draft eligible go pro..

This will take 4 years to settle and is highly unlikely. This game will more than likely not have 2 future hall of famers.

Showing your complete ignorance of anything that happened more than 5 minutes ago. FSU and Miami and ND and Miami had several games of the century that were rematches. ND and Miami played back to back years were they were the defending Champs with the losers only loss being to each other. There is life and good FB outside of the SEC.

Very little you have said is objective.

No doubt plenty of each, but not more than many other games mentioned in this thread. You are counting A Hernandez and Cooper as first rounders which shows your total ignorance of the NFL draft.

Who?
Mark Ingram and Rolando McClain are the only for sure selections.
Also Cody didn't deserve the honor last year and would not this year for sure.

because when I asked you to name them you listed several guys that are not draft eligible this year.
ETA: 16 from 2 teams is a good number, but Ohio State alone had 14 drafted in 1 year. A lot depends on who comes out and how many key players are draft eligible. You are hung up on one draft, its takes time to sort thru. UT had 2 DBs that were first rounders in 2007. USC had a couple of guys like Cushing and Maleluga that were frosh and drafted 3 years later.

Proof of donation is posted on the forum.
If, in the 2010 NFL Draft, 16 or more from the AL and FL roster are drafted, you win. If not, I win.
I'm in....are you?
Awesome, I'm in if we use 15 or more but you apparently have more disposable income than I do.
I'm game for $100.

Ingram, McClain, Arenas, and Mike Johnson are All-Americans this year.
Cody was last year.
4 + 1 = 5

Fair enough. I'm just trying to create some good from this retarded thread. Bookmark and reference after the draft.

Arenas
He isn't even top 2 in the SEC.

Mike Johnson
Isn't he a guard that is a shaky position to project.

you can claim it, but he was a bull shite selection last year

Oh and for the record, I'm going to claim Dunlap counts even though he's suspended he's on the roster.
I'll bookmark this thread. I'm more interested in us winning the game, but at least even if we lose I can have something to look forward to out of this.
Any takers on the fact that Bama will have 4 all-americans this year? (Buckeye fan?)

Maybe the game will go into overtime tomorrow, and just go on and on and on and on forever. Everyone can spend the rest of their lives frothing at the mouth, in an orgasmic trance, watching the greatest, most epic matchup ever!! What did we all do before Bama went undefeated?
