LSU outgained Auburn 407-165, holding Auburn to 16 total yards and one first down in the second half. AU recovered a fumble in the EZ for a TD, then returned 3 Jamie Howard INT's for TD's in the 4th to win it. I believe he threw 2 more in the 4th that ended drives. Unbelievable game. LSU fans had to have been sick after that one

that game haunts me to this day. I can remember every little detail about it. I still cannot believe what I saw. LSU(which be real under Curley was awful) beat the living crap out of Auburn that day. They had nothing and LSU just handed them the game....

The LSU QB's stat line:
18-41
280 yds
1 TD
6 Ints
3 INT Returned for TD

Howard threw 2 INT's on LSU's last drive. LSU at AU's 25, throws one returned to the 50 but the ball was stripped and LSU recovered. LSU got downfield again and Howard threw an INT in the EZ to seal the loss.

Hallman's 1990 USM team with Brett Favre did the same thing to Bama. Bama DOMINATED that game but kept turning the ball over. Legion Field, hottest game I've ever attended. To make matters worse, the water was out and the sewage was clogged. Didn't really care that we lost, just wanted out of that hellhole.

I hated every second of it but the best comeback I have ever witnessed was when UK came back from 31 to beat LSU in 1994. I remember because I was in high school and watched every second. The next day I was eating lunch with a UK fan and mentioned the game. He told me not to rub it in and that he turned it off during the 2nd half. He didn't believe me that UK won until he saw it on sportscenter.

The main thing I remember of that game was the masterful coaching job that Rick Pitino did in that game. Like I said, I hated it but I had to respect the job that was done.

1996 opener.

Houston 34 LSU 14 at start of 4th quarter.

Final LSU 35 Houston 34. LSU had over 250 yards rushing in 4th quarter alone, not 1 pass even attempted.
Faulk fumbled three times, including twice inside Houston 5 yard line, earlier in the game.

We had a good one against UT in 95. Down 30-10 or 31-10 at the half and ended up winning 62-37.

Bama 24, Arky 20

Biggest upset of the year, IMO. Truly a defining moment for the Bama program.

Unfortunately the most unbelieveable comeback I have ever witnessed was Jax St coming back and beating us in 2010.

It was some movie type shite. Simply unreal.

Not by an SEC team, but the choke at Doak is the best comeback in a game involving an SEC team

For those that don't know: CHOKE AT THE DOAK

FSU scored 28 in the 4th quarter to tie Florida 31-31

Then they played a rematch in the Sugar Bowl....the 5th quarter in the French quarter

Of course FSU won that game

5TH QUARTER IN THE FRENCH QUARTER

Down 21-3 vs. Arkansas while ranked #1 in 1998. Arkansas was dominating and we had just gone 3 and out again. Vols dug deep and cut it to 21-10 at halftime. You guise know the rest of the story.

Bought wins don't count.

ETA: Also, Stoerner was down. Ball hits the ground while still in his possession. Ground forces the fumble. GFY, GDIAF, etc.

FSU didn't win the game though, so that doesn't count.

I remember that deep ball TM threw to PP right before half. Changed the game.

JFF had a fumble vs OM this year that was very similar to that infamous play.
