I mean the big bowls, not 2 in the big game. Normally it's a given the SEC gets 2 in, but this isn't a normal year. I looked over the landscape, and things are tight for the 4 at-large bids:
Boise and TCU are going to take 2, as they will be undefeated and ranked high all season (and the media and congress will go apeshit if either gets left out after going 12-0).

Then you have the Oregon/Stanford connection- if Oregon goes undefeated and Stanford finishes with just the 1 loss to them, I think they're in. And I'd be surprised if they don't finish out that way. That leaves just 1 spot open.

Which leaves us with a potential mess involving the Big 10; Ohio St, Mich St, and Wisconsin are all 1-loss teams who don't play each other. It's entirely possible 2 or all 3 might finish 11-1.

For LSU, as much as it might pain me to say it, I think we are safest if we not only win out, but coat-tail in on Auburn's run to the BCS game (basically same scenario as Stanford; might even be a SEC/Pac-10 'preview' matchup with Stanford). I would say Alabama (and any other 2 loss team) would be out no matter what if those teams finish like that. I also worry about fallout if Auburn gets upset by a weaker Fla or SC team in Atlanta.

Thoughts?

LSU in Sugar.

Alabama can possibly get an at-large BCS if they win out.

This is all assuming that Auburn is in as deep as it looks.

Best case scenario would have Auburn forfeiting all their games and LSU getting into the BCS title game. Then, Bama to the Sugar.
