Did you miss that part when Kam admitted he'd never studied the play book?

Mac panicked all day after he got sacked a couple of times. He will see a lot more of that here on out. Look at the Pats remaining schedule: LINK
How many wins do you see ?

There is so much stupid in this entire thread it’s hard to know where to start. But it’s really perfect for the rant. Idiot trolling, everything black and white as always. I was someone who was on the fence about how good Jones would be as a pro and, if anything, I came away from this game more impressed with him than I was before. He played against a really good defense (not the one with 6 or 7 starters out against Carolina), that came after him all day. A lot of QB’s would have been sacked 6 or 7 times; I thought he did a phenomenal job escaping sacks. The Saints secondary and linebackers did a great job sticking to receivers (which is a tribute to how good they are and likely how not great NE’s receivers are). His receivers did make some fantastic catches in fairness, but their inability to separate made for really tight windows to throw into. Obviously, Smith has to catch that ball, but it was thrown out a little in front of him. But most high school TE’s make that catch 9 out of 10 times. The first interception was one of those that was caused by the defense, not so much the QB’s fault. The last one was trying to make something happen at the end and forcing the ball. He’s only three games in to his career (after a pretty short, in terms of games played, collegiate career); I think he’s going to be a solid NFL QB. I apologize for derailing this thread and trying to actually be reasonable. It won’t happen again.
Said perfectly. Bravo.

I just watched the game. Mac played much better than any of these fricktards are saying. He did not panic because he was sacked. He didn't play great but 2 of the ints are not on him. First int online wiffed and let him get drilled in the chest while passing the ball. Second int hit the te in the hands, he bobbled it right to the db. 3rd int was a bad pass on an end of game shot to the endzone after the game was completely out of reach. New England has some problems, but Mac Jones ain't one of them. Their online has played terrible in both run blocking and pass protection, and these players they spent so much money on in free agency are not earning their money. So many drops.

Mac's first interception was due to pressure, not because he was hit. He wasn't hit until after the ball was released. His second Int was due to the TE reaching out for a overthrown pass. Otherwise it would have been incomplete. He was sacked or hit way too many times and most of the time that is on the QB.

Only because the Bammers beating their chest three weeks ago about the three great QBs starting in the NFL. We all knew it would be short lived, but it fun reminding them about it.
