Belichick is no stranger to Saban's program at Bama. He and Nick have been friends for decades and met regularly during the off season to pick each others brains. Bill has Saban's blueprint, Saban had Belichick's. It's often said Saban's program was modeled like a NFL team, ie Patriots.

Isn't this deal partially to set his son up as coach in waiting?
It'll be good in terms of generating some interest/hype in the program but I don't think he would turn them into a new Bama.

Screw that! UNC can go to the Big 10 if the Big 10 will have them but the SEC is crowded enough already.
