It's not that bad people. Jeez. You ever tried sculpting someone? It isn't easy. Hell, Coach Bryants statue isn't exactly perfect either

it's the wax mold. They'll pour the bronze after they make a ceramic casting from the mold.
Will the Bronze make it look better?

That is so "Alabama", does it say "winner of the 13th NC" on is somewhere????

What the hell does that even mean?
Every other coach that's won a NC here has a statue
Every other coach that's won a NC here has a statue

Les Miles doesn't have one, Nick Saban doesn't have one in La., Bob Stoops doesn't have one, Steve Spurrier doesn't have one, U. Myers won 2 and doesn't have a statue.........OK they didn't win them there, that is the point.
How many statues do you have for the history dept, or the engineering dept, or the sciences??? You don't have a university, you have something to do until spring football opens.

Florida is building one of Spurrier actually.

You didn't answer the big question, how many do you have for the history dept, the engineering dept, the medical field, the study of law, etc, etc, etc...........My guess is none, no one teaching at a "University of Higher Learning" was good enough to get a statue, but the football coach, well that is another story...........

They get buildings named in their honor, not just a statue, count

I figure this will probably come as a shock to you, but buildings on a typical campus are usually named after the professors, deans, significant alumni, and other academic leader types. Alabama is no different in this regard.

UA is a pretty good school, and continues to be ranked significantly higher than LSU

Reminds me of a Sims character

If I were Saban, and I saw that statue I would gladly accept naming an outhouse after me, instead of putting that hideous thing out in the open........

Once again, you ever tried to sculpt someone? And also, the rest of the statues aren't perfect either
