Because this is all about money, which low revenue SEC teams will get booted

For instance, Vanderbilt and Miss St ranked 60th and 61st respectively out of 65 Power Five teams in football revenue in 2018 according to SI.

None of the 10 founding members will get the boot, period.

The term “founding members” doesn’t mean anything anymore I’m sorry to say.

A&M is still pretty new to the SEC. Some schools though has spent their whole existence in this league. So yes there is founding members.

So if a school doesn’t pull its weight - invest in facilities, drive viewership, etc. the SEC will forever provide them with welfare

You're the newest kid on the block, yet you act like youve been here since the SEC was founded.

Besides the original member argument, both have won recent NC in other sports and Vandy specifically contributes to the SECs academic standing and research. While these recent moves are mostly about football the conference has other considerations and aren't booting any members.

Wouldn’t shock me if a team like Vandy decided to go elsewhere like the ACC. It would be easier and give them a better chance to win.

This implies Vandy cares about athletics.

Not going to happen..who comes up with this shite???

Well if you spend the money to field a team every year then you have to care about it to some degree. If OU and Texas comes though it’s going to make the SEC murder for a team like Vandy. They might try to look elsewhere to have a better shot to compete year in and year out.

I’d boot Vandy in favor of Clemson

No original member would every get asked to leave. It's all going to be a money grab from here on out though, so we will see where it goes.

Might suit them better for basketball and baseball. But would be a shame to not have them in the SEC.

Then you've been in the SEC for 10 years and have learned absolutely nothing about it.

The SEC takes pride in their membership unlike the Big12.

Try them up and you will find out.

Where did he say anything that indicates that?
You, on the other hand, were born on third base and think you hit a triple.
Nobody on this board had a damn thing to do with the SEC becoming a dominant sports conference.

Kinda noticed you have low key melting about this stuff.
