Actually, yes.

Wasn’t sold until he kept addressing concerns that everyone else could see needed fixing. He’s showed up most of the problems LSU has had. Just need to improve OL recruiting, QB recruiting/development, and improving DL/pass rush.

They’re going to probably get Crawford and Dumervil so that’s #1.

#2 Who knows? Have to wait to see Myles. Hopefully out of Max, TJ, and Peter one of them work out.

#3 Massive DL/edge class for 2020

It hasn’t been enjoyable, but let’s no kid ourselves, O isn’t a great coach. He’ll be fired within the next 3 seasons.

go get Joe Brady to give him a decent offense.

Now if E and O would get their old asses out the way and let Brady call the offense we may win. Since Vandy we have slowed the offense. We have not played maximum speed pure tempo since the first half of Vandy.

I was somewhat disappointed in the way Aleva handled the search. I was not a fan of Fisher or Herman, because Fisher had pretty much mailed it in at FSU toward the end of his tenure there and Herman always seemed to lose a couple of games at Houston to clearly less talented teams (and seems to be following that pattern at Texas).

I saw O as a stop gap because Aleva didn’t really seem to have any plan beyond either Herman or Fisher. I thought he should be looking for an up and coming young talent. But O has exceeded my expectations. He clearly learned from his mistakes at Ole Miss, and grown into the role. He deserves credit.

If I'm honest, hell no I didn't think he'd work out. Especially after Troy and getting drubbed by friggin MSU.

I've eaten my crow, but if required, I'd happily continue eating it. Hopefully me and all other doubters continue to have reason to eat our crow.

FWIW, I liked Coach O, just hated the hiring process...Mr. "I am the search", more than anything. But again, I didn't think he'd work out either, sooooooooo.....

I know some, and they're not wrong, who remind us that in 2015 we had the leading Heisman candidate and were 8-0 rolling into Tuscaloosa.
The wheels then fell off and Miles nearly got canned by season's end.

That said, I'm on board with Coach O.

Not an LSU fan, but he has exceeded my expectations. I’m pretty impressed with what he’s done with this team.

We aren’t happy with Gus and he’s taken us to a national championship and two SEC championships.... O has been to neither, will this be the year?

No luck to it. He knew Brady already and was well aware of his talent as a young assistant at NO. Not that there is anything wrong with some luck. But it wasn’t luck that brought Brady to LSU.

He is on fire recruiting. I am just fearful of a disaster in the back of my mind. Stems from his Ole Miss days

I'm thinking Brady is your OC in waiting. He takes the spot full time next year.

Dude, they've been #1 for a single day.
