I agree. I don't know what the line is, but I expect Oklahoma to win by 20+. ND has been living on the edge all year and Oklahoma is starting to play very good ball.

I don't think you understand reality.
You're welcome to explain your theory of how those voting in the BCS are affected by the money each team can bring.
I'll helicopter and wait.

While I'd like to agree, we are talking about Big Game Bob here, remember?

I'll
when Alabama, Oregon, and KState are all undefeated and the lame Big XII gets left out for the second straight year.

It's simple
The bowls system is set up to bring in the most cash it can from its competition. Last year I went to the Champs Sports bowl.
Notre Dame(8–4) & Florida State (8–4)
Payout US$2.275 million per team
68,305 people were in attendance.
Forbes ranks Fighting Irish as second most valuable college football program
Using a set of standardized revenue and expense streams for each university surveyed, Forbes placed the team value of Fighting Irish football at $108 million. The University of Texas was rated first with a value of $119 million.
How many other 8-4 teams would have brought the money that Florida State & Notre Dame could bring?
I'm not saying its the absolute factor. I'm saying if you compare the teams the one that can bring the biggest return will be playing in the game if they have equal records.

Not, it's not that simple. Try again.
How is that affected by money? Not, do you think it is. How is it?

If you don't think money plays into the BCSNC picture then you are naive.

If LSU made it to the BCS game, they would get beat down by a number of teams. No offense equals an embarassing defeat for the SEC. I don't think they want any part of that game. Leave that game to the big boys ( Bama).

You have still failed to prove your point. 1st the BCSCG is always going to be a sell out, so they don't really give a shite about ticket sales. We aren't talking about the fricking Champs Sports Bowl are whatever bowl you referenced in trying to make your point. Now, when you start talking about TV revenues you might be on to something to an extent, but if you really think either the computers or the pollsters voting in the Coaches and Harris polls really consider ad revenues in making their picks of 1 and 2 in the BCS, then you have some serious tin foil hats. The human voters definitely have their individual bias, but some marginal difference in ad revenue for the BCS is probably about 100th on the list of things that cross their mind when they fill out their polls.

If ND's defense can keep things close you can never tell when the " luck of the Irish" might kick in, just ask Stanford.
