LSU reallyyyyyyyyy needs Arkansas to choke against Mississippi State or Tennessee. That would eliminate the chance of a 3-way tie.

If LSU loses to Arkansas, but then wins the SEC title, they'll go to the BCS Championship Game as long as Oklahoma State or Stanford loses.

Computers like OU this year and will like them just as much as bama (or damn close) after they rip okie lite a new one.

It will come down to the voters on the final weekend. Big 12 championship game may have a late impact on the voters as well.

No, all you have to do is beat them.

Oklahoma in the top 10 at all is a fricking joke. They lost to one of the worst teams in the Big 12 at home.

if OU wins out and Stanford loses to Oregon, OU is pretty much going to be pushed to the title game

Which is a travesty considering they lost to a terrible team @ home, while Arkansas' only loss is on the road @ #3

Sporting News take...because I like it.

Did OSU do enough to move to 2?
quote:

As Boise State (8-0, 3-0 Mountain West) slogged to a 21-14 halftime lead at UNLV, the size of a common-sense question only grew:

Isn't Alabama clearly the second-best team in college football?

This and that

-- An SEC game featuring two top-10 teams has never been overlooked like Arkansas' 44-28 win vs. South Carolina was overlooked. But if the Razorbacks (8-1, 4-1) are as good as their No. 8 ranking says they are, then their Nov. 25 visit to LSU should be taken very seriously. As poorly as LSU's quarterbacks played on Saturday, how can the Tyler Wilson factor be ignored? The sophomore keeps getting better; he threw for 299 yards and a pair of scores against the 10th-ranked Gamecocks (7-2, 5-2).

-- All Georgia (7-2, 5-1) has to do now to win the SEC East is beat Auburn and Kentucky at home. That schedule--no LSU, no Alabama--is a ridiculously good break.

THE BOTTOM FIVE

Denard Robinson. Twenty incompletions at Iowa? Dude: See it, throw it. Preferably to one of your teammates.

Steve Spurrier. Remember when you used to be a quarterback guru? We don't, either.

Bill Young, Oklahoma State defensive coordinator. The young man's name is Collin Klein, not Clark Kent.

The Honey Badger. A win is a win. And dirty is dirty.

Alabama kickers. Not one, not two, not three, but four missed field goals. At least there are two of you to share the woe.

And just think last week, Lane Kiffin nearly helped the rest of the SEC by beating Stanford, until a shitty helmet to helmet call, and a few other things.

We're going to maul Arkansas.

I'm not worried about that. Just speaking hypothetically.

Wisconsin started high as well. They lose on the road to a ranked team on the last play of the game that same week and drop 9 spots.
