Nah, LSU did this in 2009, assuming you're talking about 3 in a game

3 in a game! This is clearly what we are talking about. Vols have hit 7 grand slams in the last 12 games. Vols are on pace to break the NCAA record for GS in a year.

So your OP is wrong, that's not setting a new record. It's been done before.

Why don't you count 2018?

Even if we count Vitello first year in Knoxville, you’re still 7-11. I hope you would be able to beat a team that won 7 SEC games the year prior. While that 2018 team improved, it still didn’t not make the sec tournament and finished last in the EAST. Vitello. One to Baton Rouge with his worst team since being at Tennessee. Since then though, been a different story.

It has not been done before in the SEC or school history. The only team to ever do it is Arizona State. Go back and read it slowly and pick out of the key words!

Incorrect, as usual.

Three grand slams absolutely have been hit in a single game in SEC history but you guys are new to baseball, so I understand the mistakes.

If you're going to constantly talk about Vitello owning LSU, you can't leave out some of his games.

That's dishonest.

Teams with the most NCAA Baseball Championships.

USC - 12
LSU - 7
Texas - 6
Arizona St. - 5
Tennessee - 1

Are you well?

Again, why are you only counting since 2019? Vitello has been there longer than that.

2018 was his 1st year, so if you think it’s an accomplishment to beat a team that finished last in the East and won 7 SEC games year prior to him taking over, then by all means let’s count it. But since his 2nd year on, he’s owned hall.

His record vs LSU is 11-7 and LSU hasn’t won a game in Knoxville since he’s taken over. Does that make you feel better? Does it make you feel better to know that you have lost the last 4 games against Vitello and the Vols?

LSU last win in Knoxville- 2016
UT last win in Baton Rouge- 2023

So what?

You clowns brag about beating BK in his first year.

You're counting victories over Jay Johnson in his first year.

Why doesn't a Tennessee coach's first year count?

Tennessee’s baseball team has turned into a beer league softball team. Those 365 foot shots are incredible. About as incredible as committing 3 errors and not mentioning that. Errors won’t get you beat against college level teams, no way

Then tell me, when was the last time it happened then if UT wasn’t the first one in the SEC. Because the NCAA record is 3, and I haven’t found 1 SEC team part of the 3 in 1 game. Because I can’t find anything on google besides Tennessee right now now.

Tennessee also set the SEC record last year with 12 grand slams in a season and they going to break that record this year.

BK had one of the most talented teams in the country according to 247sports. Top 5 to be exact I believe. And Heuple was in his 2nd year and coaching a team with sanctions put on them by NCAA.

Johnson got left with a CWS roster, even I couldn’t have fricked that up when adding Skenes.

Vols baseball before Vitello won 16 games 2 years prior to he taking over and missed the tournament and finished last on the east. Circumstances are drastically different.

But let’s count 2018 and hour still Vitello bitch at 7-11 record be Vitello. Vitello record after year will be 13-8!

Tell us who South Dakota State is? Or what about Omaha? Not many people even knew Omaha had a college and hour weekend starters lost to them.

Only they didn’t set an SEC record. It tied LSU. LSU hit 3 against Illinois on March 7, 2009. Leon Landry, Nick Pontiff, and Micah Gibbs all left the yard with the bases juiced. Tigers did something else pretty cool that year. Cant remember exactly what it was though. Im sure the baseball afficianados in Tennessee will remember and let me know.

Your insecurity is noted.

Im sure it wont be the last time.

We get it though. 2009 was like 10 years before y’all knew college baseball even existed, so y’all probably just used those pages in the record book for coloring.

Tennessee baseball has been good enough on its own under Vitello, not sure why OP consistently feels the need to make false statements to make them appear even better.

Has to be his insecurities.
