Point being? Portland had a pretty good pitching staff. Samford put us out of the regional last year. I'm sorry we didn't schedule a real baseball powerhouse school like Stony Brook or something in OOC play. Why would we want to do that to ourselves?

I'm not saying what you guys are doing isn't impressive, but it should be taken with a huge grain of salt since you are playing one of the weaker OOC schedules in the SEC.
Acting like you guys are by far the best team in the conference is foolish, premature, ignorant, and reeks of the "7-0 football season"-syndrome.

Yeah.. If yall beat your first 3 conference opponents then the shite talking should ensue... Not now... Look at UK last year.. They were something like 20-0 and still didnt host.

I'm sure there are a few delusional fans out there no doubt, but most of us grinders are just having fun. I can't imagine any of us predicting a 26-4 season in the SEC like you know who did. In fact there were a few State fans worried about this week because we've had 4 games each weekend so far, and had two mid week games this week.

Man our fans are just having fun with this. We just haven't seen that much athletic success over the years, and now some of them don't know how to handle it. (And they mainly just like to see all of y'alls jimmies get rustled).

yall don't seem to do that and come off as overly arrogant when yall haven't won anything. this could be to get under other people's skin, but it still makes yall look like asses.

Stony Brook from last year would rape every team you've played thus far. People rag on LSU for losing to them, but that was a really legit team with plenty of pro talent. They had 8 players drafted after last season, 5 more than the Grinders had. People sound baseball unintelligent when they act like last year's Stony Brook team was horrible simply because they weren't a team from a big conference.
