LSU lost to A&M in 2023 and 2025, they won in 2024. I'd rather lose.

1939 was the last time A&M won a championship in anything that matters

Is that why they are one of your permanent 3 on your schedule each year?

Last three losers of the series have made the natty

And all three won it
Wait what

They don't get it. I'm sure Ohio State fans wouldn't mind losing to Michigan again if it means they win a natty.
To a lot of programs, beating LSU is as close to winning it all as they're going to get. Once you get accustomed to championships, nothing else really matters.
Winning natties trumps beating rivals every time. No one even remembers that ATM beat LSU in baseball in '23 and '25, but they remember who won the CWS and will for all time.
